In order to make my brake bracket I needed to use various programs such as Inventor and Fusion. I had to follow a worksheet in Inventor and then export it over to Fusion. This is where I got the G-Code from that I put on my flash-drive so I can cut out the brake bracket on the mill.
These are the guide lines that will show me how my brake bracket will cut out in a simulation.
This was my completed brake bracket that I cut out on the mill. The brake bracket took a while because I had to redo the mill three times because I set it up wrong.
What I learned throughout this process was how to use the mill. I didn't know how to set it up on the computer and moving the drill bit. I know know how to do all of these things.
